Basecamp: a group of people who gather in preparation for the journey or experience ahead.
We consistently share our interests and passions with others.
Jesus’ call to follow Him can’t be separated from sharing Him.
The medium is the message.
How we live is the greatest message we can share.
How we share is more important than what we share.
Pray regularly and specifically for those who are not following Jesus yet.
Be open to God’s Spirit leading your day.
Share and invite.
The church is supposed to be our Basecamp.
We gather so we can scatter.

When you hear that your life is a message to the world about Jesus, what kind of changes might you need to make in your life for this to be true for you?
If you think of VRL as basecamp, what can the leadership at VRL do to help you better prepare to go out and share the gospel through word and/or deed? What can you do for yourself to prepare?

How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!”
