God’s way of reaching and restoring the world has always been through blessing. Matthew 14:13-21 NLT
1. People we are meant to serve are in close proximity to us. (v. 13-14)
2. We should utilize our resources and access God’s power when serving people. (v. 15-19)
3. People we serve should personally benefit from our service to them. (v. 20)
Challenge: When we identify the needs of the people around us and demonstrate compassion on them by serving them and meeting their needs, people will not only be blessed by our actions, but they will quite literally experience the love of Jesus through our acts of service to them. And when people’s needs are met and they feel loved by us, they will likely be more open to hearing about the good news of Jesus. Who do you think God wants you to serve this week?
