Awaken The Pioneers
1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart (Heb 12:1-3).
This is the anthem of the spiritual pioneer, the sojourner, the trailblazer— it is the sound of a prophetic company of men and women who stare at the status quo and dare to believe there is something better on the other side of the journey. True pioneers persevere through hardship, are faithful through every fight, and accept the risk and ridicule that comes with the road less traveled.

The Pioneer - He is the TRAIL BLAZER
He is the one who goes before and clears the path for all who comes after.
Pioneer - a person who is among the first to explore or settle a new country or area.
Greek “archegos” - one who causes something to begin—‘initiator, founder, originator.’
Translated as: Founder, Source, Originator, or Pioneer
Used 4 times and alluded to twice and only in reference to Jesus
The Perfecter - He is the TRAIL FINISHER
He didn’t just begin the race; He fully finished!
We don’t tell the stories of those who begin the race, we tell the stories of those who finish.

Heb 11:37–40 They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated—38 the world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains, living in caves and in holes in the ground. 39 These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised, 40 since God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect.
With such a rich history of parted seas and drowned enemies, you have no reason to be discouraged nor any excuse to doubt!

1) What is the worst case scenario? What would be the permanent impact, if any, on a scale of 1–10? Would it be permanent? How likely do you think it is that they would actually happen?
2) How long would it take you to recover and get things back under control?
3) What are is the best case scenarios? What would be the permanent impact, if any, on a scale of 1–10? Would it be permanent? How likely do you think it is that they would actually happen?
4) If you lost your job today, what would you do to get things under control? Ask yourself questions 1-3 again.
5) What are you putting off out of fear? Usually, what we fear the most is what we need to face the most.
6) What is it costing you—financially, emotionally, and physically—to postpone action?
7) What are you waiting for?
