MOSES

1/ Moses was known for his intercession, just as Jesus is known for His intercession.

So Moses brought their case before the Lord… Numbers 27:5, NIV

2/ Moses had a profound knowledge of God, just as Jesus had a profound knowledge of God.

He made known His ways to Moses… Psalm 103:7, NIV

3/ Moses experienced righteous anger, just as Jesus experienced righteous anger.

When Moses approached the camp and saw the calf and the dancing, his anger burned and he threw the tablets out of his hands, breaking them to pieces… Exodus 32:19, NIV

4/ Moses spoke for God, just as Jesus spoke for God.

Moses went and told the people all the Lord’s words and laws…Exodus 24:3, NIV

5/ Moses commands no editing of God’s word, just as Jesus commands no editing of God’s word.

Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the Lord your God that I give you. Deuteronomy 4:2, NIV

6/ Moses erected a Tabernacle, just as Jesus erects a Tabernacle.

1/ Moses anointed the Tabernacle, just as Jesus anoints the new Tabernacles.

Then Moses took the anointing oil and anointed the tabernacle…Leviticus 8:10, NIV

2/ Moses left a successor, just as Jesus left successors and a Successor.

He will give you another Advocate to help you… John 14:16, NIV

3/ Moses gave an inheritance, just as Jesus gives an inheritance.

(You) may stay in the land that Moses gave you… Joshua 1:14, NIV

4/ Moses appears a second time, just as Jesus will appear a second time.
