Ahab son of Omri did more evil in the eyes of the LORD than any of those before him. (1 Kings 16:30)
He set up an altar for Baal in the temple of Baal that he built... (1 Kings 16:32).
Now Elijah the Tishbite, from Tishbe in Gilead, said to Ahab, (1 Kings 17:1a)
“As the LORD, the God of Israel, lives, whom I serve, there will be neither dew nor rain in the next few years except at my word.” (1 Kings 17:1).
Sometimes God dials back the supply to draw back our trust.
Is God dialing back a supply to draw back my trust?
Then the word of the LORD came to Elijah: "Leave here, turn eastward and hide in the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan." (1 Kings 17:2-3)
You will drink from the brook, and I have directed the ravens to supply you with food there." So he did what the LORD had told him. He went to the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan, and stayed there. The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning and bread and meat in the evening, and he drank from the brook. (1 Kings 17:2-6)
Where God guides, He provides.
We need to thank god for the supply, regardless of His delivery system.
What provisions do I need to thank God for?
Provision Inventory:
Grab a blank page and draw as big a circle as you can, then draw a line down the center of the circle. Then on the left side, put things you feel like have been a supernatural provision from God. Then on the right side, put the natural things He's provided for you. Then at the top of the page, put "God’s Provisions". And take some time to give God credit and thank Him for all of those provision.

Gratitude is good for us.
Gratitude keeps God's provision from becoming a problem.
It's always better to have a relationship with the Provider than possession of a provision.
Some time later the brook dried up because there had been no rain in the land. (1 Kings 17:7)
God loves you too much to let His provisions become a problem.
Two ways God's provision can become a problem:
1. We get confused about the source of the supply.
2. We're tempted to stay in the place of provision instead of following God to what He has for us next.
