The power of Christian unity is in the glory of Jesus Christ.

When we ascribe a higher value to some rather than others, it betrays the unity we share in Christ.

The church puts itself in great danger when it gives people value and authority based on external and worldly standards.

When we do not value others the way God values them, it’s sin.

It becomes really silly to show partiality to the rich of this world when all believers are insanely rich and share in that same wealth.

When Jesus’ glory is preeminent, there is no grounds for partiality.

When the Gospel is at the center, it kills partiality because we see that the price paid for all was Jesus’ blood, so we all share the same value.
