We are to beware of false prophets (teachers) among us.
We can recognize a false teacher by the fruit of their teaching.
We can recognize a false teacher by the fruit of their character.
Challenge: Watch out for false teachers! A teacher’s doctrine and character are the primary fruit that we are to examine to see if they are truly messengers of God. True messengers of God will faithfully preach the whole gospel, and their lives will reflect the fruit of the Spirit which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
