Join us at 9:45 or 11:15 as we learn about different people in the Bible and how their lives are not only similar to ours, but a great way to learn more about God and his relationship with us.

Outdoor Service
Join us on August 15th for our outdoor service at 10:00 a.m. Bring a chair to sit on as we gather outside to worship all together. We will also be doing baptisms on this day as well. If interested, please email info@hittheriver.com.
Affinity Group Fair
Get to know people who love to do the things YOU love to do! On August 15th, immediately following our outdoor service, there is an affinity group relaunch and interest fair. You will be able to see all the different groups, meet the leaders, ask questions, and sign up for any you want to join and share any new ideas for future groups.
Media and Sound

Cultivating Prayer
The Bible uses kinds of phrases 58 times: “Love one another.” “Care for one another.” “Pray for one another.” “Encourage one another.” “Help one another.” “Counsel one another.” “Support one another.” Every believer in the family of God is to do this for every other believer.
BYM Israel Trip

Women’s Bible Study
This September, we will begin the study of Luke by Disciplers Bible Studies. Each lesson includes commentary and daily questions for personal study and the daily questions will be discussed in the study group. There will be two classes offered, on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6:30 p.m.- 8:30 p.m, beginning Sept. 7 & 8. The first session is 13 weeks. For more information, visit hittheriver.com.
Sleep in Heavenly Peace
The River Church is committed to being sure no kids sleep on the floor through our partnership with SHP. We are doing a “build day” on Saturday, August 14th from 8 a.m.–12 p.m. You can register at hittheriver.com. ALSO, financial donations are needed. The cost per bed is $200. You can give online and use the dropdown list to designate a gift to SHP. In addition, The River donates a children’s Bible to every family in Butler County that receives a bed!
RBK- Parent’s Night Out
All Preschool-5th graders are invited to join us for our next Parent's Night Out! On August 20 from 5:30-8 p.m. Parents can enjoy an evening out while their kids have dinner, an awesome time with friends, and join teams to compete in some Olympic-themed fun at church! River Youth- Water Wars
Each year, to conclude summer, The River Youth has their annual Water Wars event.On Sunday, August 15th from 6:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m. they, will be doing just that with different water-based games and activities. Administrative Assistant Opportunity
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to work part-time at the church, Monday through Thursday from 9:30am to 3:30pm. This position requires the spiritual gifts of joy, helps, and administration. Key competencies are strong computer skills, detail oriented, proactive, work with a variety of personalities, good communication skills, and comfortable with planning and organizing church events.
