We can have many questions about our purpose, if God really cares about us and what we do, if He hears us and how an intimate, personal relationship with Him is supposed to work.

God wants us to have an intimate, personal relationship with Him. He sent us the Holy Spirit, which is how we have this relationship with Jesus and God.

There are seven realities about the Holy Spirit and His work and interactions with us. These can be found in Henry Blackaby's study Experiencing God.

1. God is always at work around you

2. God wants and initiates an intimate personal relationship with you

4. God speaks to you revealing Himself, His purposes, and His ways

Every example is an illustration of a crisis of belief. How you respond will determine what you actually believe about God.

6. You will have to make adjustments to your life to join Him

Obedience requires adjustments. These adjustments are ways we surrender.

7. You come to know Him by this experience
