Welcome to all who are worshiping with us at the Dewey Community church this morning. May we all be grateful to God for the reminder that, for his children, worship is essential and not non-essential.

God has given us direction to guide us in the ministries to which
he has called us. In the Scriptures, we see 4 pairs of word
combinations which have purposefully been placed together,
combinations which can help to shape the ministries to which God
has called us.

I. The 1st Pastoral PB & J points us to the Rails of Ministry:
Integrity of Heart and Skillful Hands. (Psalm 78:72)

II. The 2nd Pastoral PB & J points us to the Model of Ministry:
Grace and Truth. (John 1:14)

III. The 3rd Pastoral PB & J points us to the Tools of Ministry:
Prayer and the Ministry of the Word. (Acts 6:2-4)

IV. The 4th Pastoral PB & J points us to the Impact of Ministry: Life
and Doctrine. (1Timothy 4:16)

Congratulations to the DCC Bible Quiz Team who brought home the championship trophy from the final FEC Quiz Off of the year. Be sure to congratulate our quizzers: Ryan G., Emily H., Beth L., and Katie L. Thanks, as well, to the coaches, Galen and Clair L., Daniel H., and Pastor Andrew for their investment in our quizzers.

Summer Camp Scholarships: Brochures for the DCC “Bible Memory Verse Program” are available in the Sunday School classrooms and on the information table in the entryway. Young people in grades 2-12 can earn a scholarship to Miracle Camp equal to half the week’s cost by memorizing Scripture. If you have questions or plan to participate, please contact Ben H.

A Baby Bottle Fund Raiser for Living Alternatives Pregnancy Resource Center will be held between Mother’s Day (May 9) and Father’s Day (June 20). Baby bottles will be provided for families or individuals to fill with loose change as a means to blessing this ministry. Greta Henry (Director of Merci’s Refuge) and Brandy Pierce (Director of Living Alternatives) will be with us on Sunday, June 6 to provide an update on these ministries.

The Dew Crew Needs You! The youth group is looking for help. We’re looking for volunteer leaders, worship leaders, and those willing to bring a meal for the students that come to the youth group. Tuesday, May 18// 7:00 pm—The Board of Elders will meet at the church.

Wednesday, May 19// 7:00pm—The Fisher High School Baccalaureate service will be held at DCC. Plan to attend as we seek God’s blessing on this year’s graduates.

Jr. High youth group will not meet.

Friday, May 21// 6:30 pm—Basketball!—Anyone age 15 or older are welcome to come to DCC and “get their game on.”

Next Sunday, May 23// In the Worship service, we will be recognizing our Fisher High School graduates: Andrew F., Cale H., and Landen S.
