Welcome to Easter Sunday!

As we wrapped up going through the prayers of Jesus the last 4 weeks, we come to this day that we celebrate the Risen Savior! (spoiler alert: JESUS. IS. ALIVE.)

As your Pastor...
>I’m thankful that Jesus knew what he was doing!
>I’m thankful we have his example in prayer.
>I’m thankful that we have an eternal hope in Jesus Christ!
>I’m thankful that we don’t have to stay under the guise of guilt, condemnation and shame from the enemy because Jesus overcame the grave, defeated death and broke the yoke of bondage called sin!
>I’m thankful that He has given us insight and wisdom about issues of our heart that foster the sinful nature!
>I’m thankful that he has provided Victory and given us the keys to overcome!

Will everyone see that? I truly desire they would!
--Some feel sin is too much to overcome so they don’t embrace it—per se—but they give up fighting it.
--On our own accord, we cannot overcome sin, but through the Victory of the Cross… everything changes!

How many of you want to see that victory in your lives today?
--The early church recognized the victory of Jesus!
Big Idea: Easter Sunday is a day we celebrate the victorious power of the resurrection and the victory that we share in Christ.
