ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Worship Service Registration

Services on site have resumed, and we are so excited to be back with you! Please go to hittheriver.com, under the events tab, and register for the service you would like to attend. We are offering 2 service times at 9:45 a.m., and 11:15 a.m. If you would rather watch online, both services will be streaming live at facebook.com/hittheriver and on our website at HitTheRiver.com.

Mask Update

At the 11:15 service only, the Elders have decided to make the service masks strongly . This means that just as in restaurants, once you are in your seating area you may remove your mask. It must, however, be used upon entering and exiting your seat location.

RBK- Toddler and Preschool

RiverBank Kids has reopened the toddler and preschool Sunday School rooms during our 9:45 a.m. worship service. Toddlers are any child 18 months through 2 years of age, and our preschool room will serve our 3, 4, and 5-year-olds. Distance will be in place to the best of our ability, with masks being required for preschoolers and any child in K-5. A detailed reopening plan with more information will be sent out to families the first of the week with more information, but if you have any questions, contact Taylor Starr at taylor@hittheriver.com.

RiverBank Kids- Virtual Sunday School

Did you know? RiverBank Kids offers a virtual Sunday School option for families unable or choose to attend on-campus services at The River. Virtual Sunday School (for kindergarten-5th graders) is hosted on Zoom at 10 a.m. every Sunday and is overseen by passionate RBK teachers who love connecting with remote families. The link and password needed to attend virtual Sunday School is sent in the weekly RBK newsletter on Sunday mornings. If you’d like to receive this newsletter, contact Taylor Starr at taylor@hittheriver.com.

RiverBank Kids- 9:45 a.m. service

We have reopened children’s ministry during the 9:45 a.m. service (ONLY). Please consider volunteering to serve in our children’s ministry. Here is what to expect:

· Registration is required, and space is limited. Register your family each week at hittheriver.com
· Check-in your family together for service.
· At check-in, kids are given preprinted name tags and parent tags. Kids will also have their temperature checked.
· Kids will enjoy a socially distanced lesson, craft, and game.
· We will Zoom with families at home during the teaching portion of our time together.

The Zoom link will be in your weekly RBKids email. Also, curriculum links will still be emailed to families every Sunday morning at 8:00 a.m., so that kids can enjoy the same lesson content that we will be offering at church.

Food is needed!

There has been a huge flood in Breathitt County, KY, where our ministry partner, Happy Church, is located. This is one of the poorest counties in the United States. On 3/21 and 3/28 we are accepting donations here at The River Church of food that will be delivered to displaced families. Here’s what we need: Nonperishable foods. Canned items need to have pull tabs so can openers are not needed. Look for canned foods that are precooked and can be eaten straight from the can if necessary. Any other nonperishable foods are accepted as well. You can bring the foods on Sunday or drop them off between the worship center doors during the week. Thank you!

You’ve Been Egged- RBKids

Easter is right around the corner! The RiverBank Kids team is excited to celebrate with families in a safe, fun, and festive way! On the morning of Saturday, March 27th, volunteers will be creating mini-egg hunts in your very own front yard for your kids to enjoy. More information is available, and sign-ups are open at hittheriver.com/events. If you are interested in serving during this event, contact Taylor at taylor@hittheriver.com.

Movie Night- River Youth

Contact Zach@HitTheRiver.com if you have any questions.
