Questions to Ponder:

1. What do you think: is the elevator going up, or coming down?

2. How much time do you spend thinking about the afterlife? Do you find it beneficial to think that way?

3. What difference does it make today knowing that one day King Jesus will return?

4. If God is coming down to make his home on earth, then what is heaven all about?

5. Do you find the book of Revelation Confusing? Encouraging? Weird? Other?

6. What does John mean when he writes that the return of Jesus will cause the “old order of things to pass away?” (Rev. 21:4)

6. How should we spend our time NOW knowing that Jesus will return in the FUTURE?

Closing Prayer:
Loving God, open our ears to hear your word and draw us closer to you, that the whole world may be one with you as you are one with us in Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
