John Harris has started dialysisand will be receiving it three afternoons a week. Carole Harris’ chemo will start on October 9th so they have a chance to get some of John’s appointments taken care of before she starts. They are very grateful to the church family for all of the sweet ways they have been shown love and care. They appreciate it and all of the kind help they have received.
Mary Lee Winter was moved to Cherry Village on Tuesday. She is getting settled in, is meeting all of her therapists and is adjusting well. Please pray not only for her wellness and rehabilitation, but also for peace of mind for George. She is in Room 307 if you would like to visit or send her a card or note.
Alan Schneweis, Richard Schneweis’ brother, is home and is now on hospice care. Because of the aggressive nature of the cancer, the best they can do now is keep him comfortable. He is experiencing a lot of abdominal pain. Their daughter is expecting their first grandchild in 3 ½ weeks, so they are praying that he will make it at least five weeks so he can meet the baby. Please also pray for Alan’s wife, Susan, as her mother passed away earlier this month.
Susan Phillips, Mark Ball's sister, started chemo last Friday. This is her fourth bout with cancer. Please pray for peace and healing.
Jenni Wittig will have a chemotherapy treatment every three weeks for the next year. Please pray that the side effects from the treatment and her other meds will be minimal. Pray for healing.
Elsie Learned is still having pain from her shoulder replacement and is having trouble with her physical therapy. Please pray for the pain and discomfort to ease and for her to be able to tolerate her therapy.
