God’s ultimate goal is impossible without relationship.
Relationship requires trust.
Trust comes from being convinced that God is good.
If someone gives us good when we aren’t good, that means they are good.
Only those who have experienced grace can be truly convinced that God is good.
God’s grace convinces us of His goodness…which is the foundation of our endless relationship with Him.
It was the older brother’s job to find his lost younger brother and bring him home.
God expects His children to be on mission with Him, rescuing our lost brothers and sisters.
They were too disgusted by the lost to mount an effective rescue operation.
Jesus is the older brother each of us so desperately needs.
Jesus is the perfect picture of the older brother we are called to be.
God invites us to know His goodness and to make His goodness known.
Do I need to take a step towards knowing that God is good or towards making His goodness known?
