A few years ago GTWY CHURCH spent a month of WKNDS learning from "the final 4" prophets of God from the Old Testament. This Summer of 2020 we return to this genre of Biblical literature known as "The Minor Prophets." The content in God's Word may be "minor", in terms of length, but...the "prophecies" from 5-7 centuries BC has not expired and is desperately relevant for the people of the 21st century. Each WKND this Summer please join us as we explore THE FATHER'S HEART, through the ancient prophets of God. We have heard from Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Micah, Habakkuk, and Haggai. This WKND, the series wraps with the 39th book of the Old Testament. The prophet Malachi shares God's Final Word...before JESUS would come to this earth. If we are able to understand the Heart of God through Malachi, then our hearts will be prepared to know Jesus. Thank-you for joining us in worship this WKND. #1 CONVICTION is a BLESSING from God: What are the “Indictments from the Father’s Heart” that bring conviction to your heart, causing you to humbly say “I am guilty.”
#2 Once #1 is completed honestly, pray this to God, your Father: “LORD, increase my awareness of SIN in my life through conviction by Your Holy Spirit.”
#3 Answer this question: “What needs to change in my life to honor God’s Jealous love for me, to know, serve, and honor Him as His prisoner of Hope?”
