OVERVIEW
The Lord’s Prayer is not simply a prayer to recite on Sunday mornings. It can be a spiritual starting point for when we cannot find the words to pray ourselves. We may be too numb, too much in pain, too blind, too angry to find the words to reach out to God. This week the focus will be on when we are overwhelmed with anger, hurt, or guilt and we need to forgive others and ourselves. We will also focus on a common challenge in today’s time when we are simply too distracted or tempted by the influences of this physical and spiritual world and need God’s power and courage to resist them.
