Prayer
Father, I come to worship you in my giving.
I acknowledge your blessing IN my life
And your care OF my life.
This is my offering. These are my tithes.
I give today because I trust you completely
With all of my life.
May you supply all my needs
In the days that are ahead.
And may you use my gift to build your Kingdom
And supply the needs of your church.
Amen.
Many crisis have a unifying effect. For example, if you take September 11th, 2001, when terrorist planes flew into the Twin Towers — there was a unifying effect like this is our country, our nation. We stand together. Unfortunately, the many crisis we have been facing in our culture are causing us to be deeply divided.
My guess is that the Devil is celebrating all the division, because one of our spiritual enemy's greatest strategies is to divide us, especially when it comes to the family of God, especially when it comes to the body of Christ.

1 Corinthians 1:10

John 17:20-23

How do we become one? What would it take for us to unite around the truth and the mission of Jesus? We need to realize we have...

...ONE ENEMY.

Ephesians 6:12

We have one enemy, the Devil. He's the Prince of darkness, the father of lies, the great deceiver. Jesus called him the thief in John 10:10. He said the thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy.
How do we become one? What would it take for us to unite around the truth and the mission of Jesus? We need to realize we have...

...ONE ENEMY.
...ONE MISSION.

Matthew 28:19-20

John 13:34-35

Romans 15:5-7

The Greek phrase for accept one another means “to open your arms and take a person to yourself; to embrace.” Its saying to someone, “I'm not just gonna let you pass by, but I'm gonna pull you toward myself.” It's a picture of taking someone by the hand and walking together as companions. I accept you and I want to do life with you, I want to walk with you, beside you.
How did Jesus accept you? We should accept others with the same mercy, grace, and love that Jesus showed us.
How do we become one? What would it take for us to unite around the truth and the mission of Jesus? We need to realize we have...

...ONE ENEMY.
...ONE MISSION.
...to be HUMBLE.

2 Chronicles 7:14

What is one way I can help heal the division that is around me?
A blessing for this week:
Now may God, the source of great endurance and comfort, grace you with unity among yourselves, which flows from your relationship with Jesus, the Anointed One. Then, with a unanimous rush of passion, you will with one voice glorify God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. You will bring God glory when you accept and welcome one another as partners, just as the Anointed One has fully accepted you and received you as his partner. Now may God, the inspiration and fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in him. And may the power of the Holy Spirit continually surround your life with his super-abundance until you radiate with hope! AMEN! (Romans 15:5-7; 13 TPT)
