Seventh Sunday After Pentecost
Jorden Meyers, Connections Pastor
Write this week's Good News Statement below:
Question to ponder: Reread 1 Corinthians 9.19-23 where Paul shows his desire to meet people where they are at with the Gospel message. Are you following Paul's example when you seek to share the Gospel? If not, are there ways that you can grow in this area?

Paul's Second Missionary Journey from Acts 15.36-18.22. His journey begins with last week's text in Syria and our story today is on the opposite side of the map in Achaia.

Questions to ponder: What barriers have you identified in your life over the past week following Carol's sermon? Have you started the process of tearing those barriers down?
Question to ponder: Read Paul’s experience in Thessalonica and Berea found in Acts 17.1-15. What stands out to you about what happened there? Do you see any similarities to the current events in our world?
Question to ponder: What stands out to you about the story of Paul's journey in Athens (Acts 17.16-24)?
Question to ponder: How can we grow as a church in our ability to share the love of Christ and be the love of Christ?
Prayer for the Seventh Sunday after Pentecost
Almighty God, the fountain of all wisdom, you know our necessities before we ask and our ignorance in asking: Have compassion on our weakness, and mercifully give us those things which for our unworthiness we dare not, and for our blindness we cannot ask; through the worthiness of your Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
