Numbers 13:30

Caleb believed:
1) The opposition they were facing was legit
2) That they were well able to OVERCOME it!

When you focus on the 2nd one you are not minimizing the OPPOSITION but you are maximizing the PROVISION!
Israel's Choice:

1) Passively accept their current less than God’s best life
2) Fight to overcome the opposition to live the life God had for them
Root of the opposition:

The EVIL way life that wanted to stay (Canaanites) vs. the GOOD Godly way of life that wanted to move in and drive them out (Israelites).

The process of OVERCOMING the evil in the land with the goodness of God created OPPOSITION.
Our Choice:

1) Passively accept the “wilderness” of our current existence living less than God's best for us
2) Fight to overcome the opposition to live the life that God has for us

Romans 12:21
