SEEK the things that are above….CHRIST. - v. 1

When we love Jesus, we seek after Him.

SET our minds on things that are above. - v. 2

PUT to death what is earthly. - vv. 5-9

If we are not seeking after and setting our minds on Jesus first, we will utterly fail in our attempt to put to death the sin in our lives.

We can and will make a lot of things idols in our lives.

At the heart of idolatry, we put ourselves ahead of Christ.

Our Heavenly Father desires for His children to seek Him above all things.
