Chapter 3 Faith - Carlo Casaleggio
The Christian life often starts off with a spiritual high. We have a sense of peace and joy, and we see God answering some of our prayers. Everything is going well, and life is working out the way we want it to. But that season doesn’t last forever, and we all go through spiritual dips in our lives too. God doesn’t seem so close. Some prayers don’t get answered. We don’t understand what God is doing. This is what happened to the prophet Habakkuk. In chapter 1, he complains to God about how bad the world is and how sinful people are. God responds by saying that he will allow the Babylonians to attack Israel and that his people were about to go through a tough time. It didn’t seem fair because the Babylonians were worse than the Israelites. Habakkuk experienced a crisis of faith in chapter 1. Chapter 2 is a long season of waiting before Habakkuk finally gets to chapter 3 where we find him in a place of great faith. What does chapter 3 faith look like?
