Psalms 37:29-33
Psalms 37:29-33 King James Version (KJV)
The righteous shall inherit the land, And dwell therein for ever. The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, And his tongue talketh of judgment. The law of his God is in his heart; None of his steps shall slide. The wicked watcheth the righteous, And seeketh to slay him. The LORD will not leave him in his hand, Nor condemn him when he is judged.
Psalms 37:29-33 New International Version (NIV)
The righteous will inherit the land and dwell in it forever. The mouths of the righteous utter wisdom, and their tongues speak what is just. The law of their God is in their hearts; their feet do not slip. The wicked lie in wait for the righteous, intent on putting them to death; but the LORD will not leave them in the power of the wicked or let them be condemned when brought to trial.
Psalms 37:29-33 New King James Version (NKJV)
The righteous shall inherit the land, And dwell in it forever. The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, And his tongue talks of justice. The law of his God is in his heart; None of his steps shall slide. The wicked watches the righteous, And seeks to slay him. The LORD will not leave him in his hand, Nor condemn him when he is judged.
Psalms 37:29-33 New Living Translation (NLT)
The godly will possess the land and will live there forever. The godly offer good counsel; they teach right from wrong. They have made God’s law their own, so they will never slip from his path. The wicked wait in ambush for the godly, looking for an excuse to kill them. But the LORD will not let the wicked succeed or let the godly be condemned when they are put on trial.
Psalms 37:29-33 The Passion Translation (TPT)
The faithful lovers of God will inherit the earth and enjoy every promise of God’s care, dwelling in peace forever. God-lovers make the best counselors. Their words possess wisdom and are right and trustworthy. The ways of God are in their hearts and they won’t swerve from the paths of steadfast righteousness. Evil ones spy on the godly ones, stalking them to find something they could use to accuse them. They’re out for the kill! But God will foil all their plots. The godly will not stand condemned when brought to trial.
Psalms 37:29-33 English Standard Version 2016 (ESV)
The righteous shall inherit the land and dwell upon it forever. The mouth of the righteous utters wisdom, and his tongue speaks justice. The law of his God is in his heart; his steps do not slip. The wicked watches for the righteous and seeks to put him to death. The LORD will not abandon him to his power or let him be condemned when he is brought to trial.
Psalms 37:28-33 The Message (MSG)
Live this way and you’ve got it made, but bad eggs will be tossed out. The good get planted on good land and put down healthy roots. Righteous chews on wisdom like a dog on a bone, rolls virtue around on his tongue. His heart pumps God’s Word like blood through his veins; his feet are as sure as a cat’s. Wicked sets a watch for Righteous, he’s out for the kill. GOD, alert, is also on watch— Wicked won’t hurt a hair of his head.

Psalms 37:29-33 New Century Version (NCV)
Good people will inherit the land and will live in it forever. Good people speak with wisdom, and they say what is fair. The teachings of their God are in their heart, so they do not fail to keep them. The wicked watch for good people so that they may kill them. But the LORD will not take away his protection or let good people be judged guilty.
