Psalms 108:11-13
Psalms 108:10-13 The Message (MSG)
Who will take me to the thick of the fight? Who’ll show me the road to Edom? You aren’t giving up on us, are you, God? refusing to go out with our troops? Give us help for the hard task; human help is worthless. In God we’ll do our very best; he’ll flatten the opposition for good.
Psalms 108:11-13 King James Version (KJV)
Wilt not thou, O God, who hast cast us off? And wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts? Give us help from trouble: For vain is the help of man. Through God we shall do valiantly: For he it is that shall tread down our enemies.
Psalms 108:11-13 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
Have not You Yourself, O God, rejected us? And will You not go forth with our armies, O God? Oh give us help against the adversary, For deliverance by man is in vain. Through God we will do valiantly, And it is He who shall tread down our adversaries.
Psalms 108:11-13 New Century Version (NCV)
God, surely you have rejected us; you do not go out with our armies. Help us fight the enemy. Human help is useless, but we can win with God’s help. He will defeat our enemies.
Psalms 108:11-13 American Standard Version (ASV)
Hast not thou cast us off, O God? And thou goest not forth, O God, with our hosts. Give us help against the adversary; For vain is the help of man. Through God we shall do valiantly: For he it is that will tread down our adversaries.
Psalms 108:11-13 New International Version (NIV)
Is it not you, God, you who have rejected us and no longer go out with our armies? Give us aid against the enemy, for human help is worthless. With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies.
Psalms 108:11-13 New King James Version (NKJV)
Is it not You, O God, who cast us off? And You, O God, who did not go out with our armies? Give us help from trouble, For the help of man is useless. Through God we will do valiantly, For it is He who shall tread down our enemies.
Psalms 108:11-13 Amplified Bible (AMP)
Have You not rejected us, O God? And will You not go out, O God, with our armies? Give us help against the adversary, For deliverance by man is in vain [a worthless hope]. With God we will do valiantly, For it is He who will trample down our enemies. [Ps 60:5-12]
Psalms 108:11-13 New Living Translation (NLT)
Have you rejected us, O God? Will you no longer march with our armies? Oh, please help us against our enemies, for all human help is useless. With God’s help we will do mighty things, for he will trample down our foes.
Psalms 108:11-13 The Passion Translation (TPT)
Lord, have you really rejected us, refusing to fight our battles? Give us a father’s help when we face our enemies. For to trust in any man is an empty hope. With God’s help we will prevail with might and power. And with God’s help we’ll trample down our every foe!
