Mark 13:36-37
Mark 13:32-37 The Message (MSG)
“But the exact day and hour? No one knows that, not even heaven’s angels, not even the Son. Only the Father. So keep a sharp lookout, for you don’t know the timetable. It’s like a man who takes a trip, leaving home and putting his servants in charge, each assigned a task, and commanding the gatekeeper to stand watch. So, stay at your post, watching. You have no idea when the homeowner is returning, whether evening, midnight, cockcrow, or morning. You don’t want him showing up unannounced, with you asleep on the job. I say it to you, and I’m saying it to all: Stay at your post. Keep watch.”
Mark 13:36-37 King James Version (KJV)
lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
Mark 13:36-37 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
in case he should come suddenly and find you asleep. What I say to you I say to all, ‘Be on the alert!’ ”
Mark 13:36-37 New Century Version (NCV)
Always be ready. Otherwise he might come back suddenly and find you sleeping. I tell you this, and I say this to everyone: ‘Be ready!’ ”
Mark 13:36-37 American Standard Version (ASV)
lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
Mark 13:36-37 New International Version (NIV)
If he comes suddenly, do not let him find you sleeping. What I say to you, I say to everyone: ‘Watch!’ ”

lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping. And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!”
Mark 13:36-37 Amplified Bible (AMP)

Don’t let him find you sleeping when he arrives without warning. I say to you what I say to everyone: Watch for him!”
