Joshua 3
3
1And Y’hoshua [Yehovah is Salvation] rose early in the morning; and they removed from Sheetim [The Acacias], and came to Yarden [Descender], he and all the people of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God], and lodged there before they passed over.
2And it came to pass after three days, that the officers went through the host;
3And they commanded the people, saying, When you2f see the ark of the covenant of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) your God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], and the priests the Levi’im (Levites) [Joined to] bearing it, then you2f shall remove from your place, and go after it.
4Yet there shall be a space between you and it, about two thousand cubits by measure: come not near unto it, that you2f may know the way by which you2f must go: for you2f have not passed [this] way heretofore.
5And Y’hoshua [Yehovah is Salvation] said unto the people, Sanctify (make holy; set apart for God’s use) yourselves: for tomorrow the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) will do wonders among you.
6And Y’hoshua [Yehovah is Salvation] spoke unto the priests, saying, Take up the ark of the covenant, and pass over before the people. And they took up the ark of the covenant, and went before the people.
7And the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) said unto Y’hoshua [Yehovah is Salvation], This day will I begin to magnify youi in the sight of all Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God], that they may know that, as I was with Moshe [He Who Draws Out Of The Waters], [so] I will be with youi.
8And youi shall command the priests that bear the ark of the covenant, saying, When you2f are come to the brink of the water of Yarden [Descender], you2f shall stand still in Yarden [Descender].
9And Y’hoshua [Yehovah is Salvation] said unto the people of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God], Come here, and hear the words of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) your God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered].
10And Y’hoshua [Yehovah is Salvation] said, Hereby you2f shall know that the living God-El Chai [is] among you, and [that] he will without fail drive out from before you the Kena’ani [Merchant], and the Hitti [Terrorists], and the Hivi [Villagers], and the P’rizi [Dwellers in Unwalled Towns], and the Girgashi [Dwelling on Clay Soil], and the Emori [Highlanders], and the Y’vusi [Threshers, Trampled Under Foot].
11Behold, the ark of the covenant of the Lord-Adon of all the earth passes over before you into Yarden [Descender].
12Now therefore take you twelve men out of the tribes of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God], out of every tribe a man.
13And it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests that bear the ark of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of Yarden [Descender], [that] the waters of Yarden [Descender] shall be cut off [from] the waters that come down from above; and they shall stand upon an heap.
14And it came to pass, when the people removed from their tents, to pass over Yarden [Descender], and the priests bearing the ark of the covenant before the people;
15And as they that bore the ark were come unto Yarden [Descender], and the feet of the priests that bore the ark were dipped in the brim of the water, (for Yarden [Descender] overflows all his banks all the time of harvest,)
16That the waters which came down from above stood [and] rose up upon an heap very far from the city Adam (Man, ground; red; earthling), that [is] beside Tzartan [Their Distress]: and those that came down toward the sea of the plain, [even] the salt sea, failed, [and] were cut off: and the people passed over right against Yericho [Its Moon].
17And the priests that bore the ark of the covenant of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) stood firm on dry ground in the midst of Yarden [Descender], and all the Yisra’eli’s passed over on dry ground, until all the people were passed clean over Yarden [Descender].
